I truly believe that doctors occupy a unique position of trust in society.  We see people at their most vulnerable and are relied upon to act in their best interests.  It is vital to maintain confidentiality and to ensure that all patients are treated as individuals, receiving the highest quality care, up to date advice, treatment and support.

I trained at University College Hospital Medical School in London and qualified in 1993, being awarded the Batchelor of Medicine and Batchelor of Surgery, MBBS.

My early career was spent gaining experience and knowledge in surgical specialities at London hospitals such as the Royal Free and St. Bartholomews. At this time I developed an interest in Orthopaedics and sports injuries.

I maintain an interest in minor surgery and am curently an affiliate of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

Extensive training and experience in A&E medicine allowed me to gain a broad knowledge base and ability to confidently manage medical emergencies in hospitals and the community.  I trained in Advanced Trauma Life Support and am a current holder of the Advanced Cardiac Life Support Provider certificate.

During my General Practice training, I was fortunate enough to gain experience in Dematology, Genito Urinary medicine, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Paediatrics and Psychiatry culminating in my final year on the Cambridge GP Vocational Training Scheme (Addenbrokes Hospital).

During my career, I have gained further specialist qualifications in family planning and currently hold the DFFP (Diploma of the Faculty of Family Planning) and the DRCOG (Diploma of the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology).

In addition, I hold the MRCGP (Membership of the Royal College of General Practice (England)).

Prior to my move to Spain, I was working as a GP in Lincolnshire and as an emergency on call GP for Lincoln County Hospital and Primary Care Trust.

I am happily married to Kari, my wife of six years and we have a daughter, Alexia, who was born in December 2005.

Here in Spain, I can provide all aspects of General Practice and have special interests in Paediatrics, Mens Health and Sexual Health Medicine.
